Nine markets of pricing and switch data, since 2019
We have priced, bought back and resold devices across nine European markets since 2019. Every contract feeds one of Europe’s largest proprietary datasets on how devices actually hold value:
- Real buyback outcomes, not list prices
- Grading results from every device that comes back
- Resale prices, market by market, model by model
- Switch behaviour from every renewal: which messages move a customer to upgrade, and how uptake follows the buyback value on offer
That dataset is why we can price a product’s residual value on day one.
The next generation: residual value intelligence
Today the industry sets residual values the way insurers did decades ago: static tables, updated by hand. It works, but every point of pricing uncertainty becomes a risk buffer, and every buffer is a category or market that stays linear.
We are developing a self-learning residual value engine:
- Per-device, long-horizon price prediction
- Learning continuously from live outcomes in nine markets
- Applied machine-learning research, run from Tallinn with research partners
When pricing gets smarter, circularity gets bigger. That’s the thesis.
